Feb 10 Owl Prowl - "Whooo is out there?" Owls have fascinated mankind for centuries, from the wise owl of the Greek goddess Athena to Winnie the Pooh's friend. To Learn more about these creatures of the night, join rangers from Ozark National Scenic Riverways. We'll learn fact and folklore about these little understood hunters of the night. Using recorded owl calls, rangers will try to get the owls to answer and maybe even approach close enough for a good look! The walk will be less then a mile, but please cme prepared because it may be chilly! Feb 11 Drama Club Play- "Check Please" - Salem High School Drama Club will present its performance of "Check Please" written by Jonathan Rand, which is a play that chronicles two people enduring a series of bad dates while looking for love in all the wrong people. There will also be a bake sale to support the Drama Club. $1 for students and $3 per adult. Doors open at 11:45 p.m.City Hall auditorium
Feb 11 Hearts Day - Stop in for the Spring Creek Artisan's Hearts Day to see some marvelous examples of art and crafts made by talented locals. Oil panting's, woodwork, fabric art, baskets, and pottery are just a few of the types of items for viewing and for sale. The wares are unique and the prices very reasonable.
