Arts & Crafts
Arts and crafts are plentiful in the area. Noted artists such as L. L. Broadfoot and David Plank have made Salem their home. Native crafts such as basket-weaving, quilting and woodworking are practiced today. Craft shows, sales and bazaars are held in the community several times a year.
