Salem and Dent County celebrate a proud Ozark heritage, and the events and festivals that the community enjoys are a reflection of the culture and values that are uniquely ours. From our weekly Ozark Country Music Concerts featuring local music talents, to shows and fairs that display the works of nationally recognized artists and crafters, there are special events to enjoy in Salem and Dent County throughout the year.

RallyAmerica™ 100 Acre Wood Road Rally – Last weekend in February
Opening Day of Trout Season – March 1st
Spring Festival – 3-Day event in May
Farmers Market – 1st weekend in May
Citywide Yard Sales – 1st Saturday in May and October

Roots Festival - Memorial Weekend
Heritage Festival (Crafters, Food Vendors) - 4th of July
Parade and Fireworks Display - 4th of July
Fall Festival – 3rd week in August
Holiday Open House – November
Christmas Parade of Lights – 1st Saturday in December
Montauk State Park – special events for adults & kids throughout the year
Ozart Natural and Cultural Resource Center (ONCRC)
Hosts Exhibits free to the public throughout the year.
