Plan Your Vacation Horseback Riding

Dent County has a long history of raising and riding horses for fun as well as for herding livestock. Many area residents participate in saddle clubs and compete in roping and riding competitions. There are hundreds of miles of trails in the area available for trail rides, and some of the most beautiful scenery in the region.

Over 100 miles of trails available. Enjoy the abundance of wildlife, springs, caves, and wildflowers on 25,000 acres of Ozark National Scenic river ways trails and old logging roads.  This unique vacation spot offers trout fishing, canoeing, and six major springs in the area.

Directions:  Take Interstate 44 to St. James, Missouri.  Keep on Hwy 68 south to Salem.  Follow Hwy 19 south 4 miles to Route K.  Veer west for 7 miles to Jadwin, Missouri.  Turn right on Route ZZ for 3 miles.
