At this time the campground is still under construction 2023 and will not be completed until 2024, but will have some primitive campsites ready, but no RV Hookups at this time.  We will have a shower house and bathrooms available.  

Located on 100 acres m/l of land in Shannon County, MO to be turned into a year-round campground with RV Camping, Primitive (Tent) Camping and will have a few yurts and teepees. This campground is starting from scratch and the plan is to have 15+ RV Sites, tent/yurt sites and lots of trails for the campers and their families to enjoy the wonderful outdoors.

Anderson's Akers RV, Campground and more sits on the Corner of A Highway and State Highway 19, in between Salem and Eminence.  (15 miles either way you go) Within a few miles to 30 miles of so many destinations in the area Akers Ferry, Echo Bluff, Round Springs, Current River State Park, Devils Well, Echo Bluff & Montauk State Park.

Current River is known for its beautiful clear waters, scenery, and great recreational opportunities such as canoeing, tubing, kayaking, exploring caves, hiking and fishing.  The river flows through the Ozarks and is know for its natural beauty and wildlife.

Anderson's Akers has wonderful relationships with several outfitters in the area that will assist you in renting kayaks, tubes or canoes.  They will pick you up and drop you off at the campground.  If you have your own kayak, tubes, canoes, etc. just let us know, we can shuttle your car to your drop off point.
