autotoursHighway 19, which runs north and south through the middle of Dent County, was the very first ever Scenic and Historic Route in Missouri. The rolling hills, forests, streams, and wildlife make a drive through the back roads of Dent County and surrounding communities a truly wonderful way to spend a leisurely afternoon. Just 25 minutes south of Interstate 44, the scenic drives in and around Dent County are a popular detour among sightseers as they visit the beautiful Ozarks region.
