The Salem Police Department's mission is to deter and detect crime in Salem, Missouri.

The Salem Police Department proudly serves a community of approximately 5,000 people, located in south central Missouri 28 miles south of I-44.  The Department is comprised of: 12 full time officers, 1 reserve officer, and 5 full time dispatchers. 

Our officers are available 24 hours a day 7 days a week.  The Salem Police Department comprises of Administration, Investigations, Patrol, K9, and Dispatch.
